Greeting in Japanese


Today I will teach you the greetings in Japanese.

we have one of the proverb  it says “it start from grettings and finish by greetings”.
we think the greetings are really important.
so lets start to learn  different kind of greetings.
1- Ohayou or Ohayou gozaimasu.
these meaning it’s mean “good morning”
we use in morning time from 5 am untill 11:00 am.
remember when we add “gozaimasu” if we want show more respect to the person that we are greeting as example if you meet a proffesor in school you say :ohayou gozaimasu-

2- the second greeting is Konnochiha
it’s mean “good afternoon”
we use it from 11.00 am until 4.00 pm

 

3- next greeting is “konbanha”
it’s mean good evening we use it from 4:00 pm till 12:00 am.

the last greetings is “oyasumi” or oyasuminasai its mean good night”.

but this greeting we use it when you go to sleep.

remember when we add “nasai” its more formal, for example when you say at your parents.
